It was while he was based at uxbridge camp that Bob met Ann and they become a courting couple and they have been together for 57 years. They married in 1952 and after living at first with Ann's mother they moved to Regent Avenue, where there family, children Denise and Martin grew up. For work Bob did a variety of jobs, including driving, although it seems he never actually got round to geting a driving license.
